I Bertacchi a Firenze

Parte della famiglia Bertacchi si mise al servizio del Granduca di Toscana nel periodo asburghico ; più particolarmente il ramo noto come quello di Barga-Firenze, del quale ritroviamo traccia nella cittadina di Barga con relativi stemmi sui palazzi della città. Giuseppe Bertacchi, Cancelliere del Granduca, né fù il principale e più noto rappresentante.

Col passare degli anni, un'altro ramo, insediato a Modena all'epoca del vescovo Pellegrino, ebbe origine col fratello di quest'ultimo, Sigismondo ; dopo trasferimento a Barga, ebbe anch'esso strettissimi legami col Granducato asburghico. Sono infatti notissimi i diploma del Granduca Leopoldo II a Sigismondo Bertacchi, nipote del Sigismondo prededente. Questo ramo fù poì noto come ramo di San Miniato-Pisa e diede inizio alla partecipazione della famiglia Bertacchi nell'ordine cavalleresco toscano di Santo Stefano.

Une partie de la famille Bertacchi se mit au service du Grand Duc de Toscane durant la période autrichienne ; la branche connue sous le nom de Barga-Firenze s'y distingua particulièrement et des traces en sont visibles dans le bourg de Barga grâce aux blasons encore visible sur certains palais. Giuseppe Bertacchi, Chancelier du Grand Duc, en fut le principal représentant.

Avec les années, une autre branche, installée à Modène à l'époque de l'évêque Pellegrino, trouve ses origines avec le frère de ce dernier, Sigismondo. Après un déménagement à Barga, cette branche eut également des rapports privilégiés avec le Grand Duché. Les diplômes du Grand Duc Léopold II à Sigismondo Bertacchi, petit-fils du précédent, sont en effet notoires. Cette deuxième branche fut ensuite distinguée comme branche de San Miniato-Pise et elle est à l'origine de l'implication de la famille Bertacchi dans l'Ordre chevaleresque toscan de Saint Etienne.

The Bertacchi in Florence

Part of the Bertacchi's family was in the service of the Tuscany's Grand Duke in the austrian time ; the branch of Barga-Florence distinguished herself and some testimonies are still evident in the town of Barga with some coats of arms ont the palaces. Giuseppe Bertacchi, Cancellor of the Grand Dukedom was issued from this branch.

Some times later, another branch initially established in Modena in the period of the bishop Pellegrino, came in Barga. This branch had good relationship with de Tuscany's Grand Dukedom. Leopold II wrote some diploma for Sigismondo Bertacchi, grandson of Sigismondo, Pellegrino's brother. This second branch was the San Miniato's branch and was at the origin of the participation of the Bertacchi's family in the San Stefano's Order.
